Vegetable tanning is a natural, traditional and high quality method of treating the skin without the use of toxic chemicals that harm the environment. It is an organic method of skin treatment dating back to around 6,000 BC.
\nIt contains tannins that are naturally extracted from the bark and leaves of various plants, such as chestnuts, oaks, moss and many other trees.
\nDuring the gradual and slow tanning process, the raw animal skins are placed in wooden barrels, from which high quality, durable and durable skins emerge.<\/p>\n

VEGETABLE TANNING & NATURAL LEATHER<\/p>\n

Vegetable tanning skins are the most natural! They are leathers that are distinguished by the lack of uniformity and homogeneous tonality - a proof of authenticity and naturalness of the skin that has not been sharpened or coated, through various treatments to look clean, at the expense of its durability. Also, vegetable tanning leathers are not coated with finishes for \"beautification\", sealing or protection from stains, to the detriment of the durability and breathability of the leather.
\nDue to the natural tannins used, tanning leather retain grains, marks, shades, fairies and all their other unique characteristics and natural imperfections - they are the most expensive skins due to the long tanning process and the quality that results from this processing.
\nOver time, these skins change for the better, getting a darker one patina<\/u> with richer and warmer tones.<\/p>\n

Vegetable tanning skins do not have a synthetic landscaping coating.
\nThey are strong and long-lasting skins, because their natural grain contains the strongest fibers in the leather. Their breathability means less sweating when it comes to shoes. In addition to shoes, tanning leathers are also ideal for belts, luggage, furniture and clothing accessories that require leathers that are less flexible but more durable.
\nThese leathers are also used by big fashion designers and big brands of high quality shoes, leather accessories and other leather products that demanding customers are looking for. These leathers live with you and the marks and stains on their surface keep a record of your personal history and the more you use them (with love and care), the better they get.<\/p>\n
